Sarban K. Sangha
My name is Sarban, and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher and to be part of the Dorothy Peacock community. This of my 28th year of education in Langley, having taught at both the primary and intermediate levels.
For the past 14 years, I have been an administrator, most recently as co-principal of Richard Bulpitt Elementary and principal in the Career Education Department at the school board office. With retirement approaching and the encouragement of a supportive spouse, I wanted to reconnect with those pieces that filled my heart, namely, enrolling a classroom and returning to my teaching roots and passion. My wife also works in the school district as a special education assistant over at Gordon Greenwood Elementary. We have two adult children and live a few minutes from the school.
Children are precious and I take my role as a teacher in their lives very seriously. They are individuals with unique qualities, strengths and abilities. To help with their educational journey, I will endeavour to make the learning relevant, interesting and engaging.
